How to Prepare for a Removals Company (Save Time, Save Money)
Five things to do before the van arrives — so your move is faster, cheaper and stress-free.
1. Finish packing the night before
The crew is there to move boxes, not pack them. Half-packed rooms cost you hourly. If you've booked a packing service, ignore this — that's what it's for.
2. Disassemble what you can
Beds, IKEA wardrobes, table legs. Smaller pieces are faster to load and less likely to scratch anything.
3. Reserve parking at both ends

4. Empty the fridge and defrost the freezer
