Who we are

What we collect
When you request a quote or book a job we collect your name, phone number, email address, the collection and delivery addresses, and the details of what is being moved. If you call or message us we keep a record of that conversation so we can quote and plan the work.
We do not collect payment card details. Payment is taken in cash or by bank transfer.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your information to give you a quote, plan and carry out the job, contact you about the booking, and keep records for tax and insurance purposes.
The lawful basis is performance of a contract where you have booked, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries where you have asked for a quote but not yet booked. Where we keep records for tax, the basis is our legal obligation.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed jobs are kept for six years, which is the period HMRC requires for business records.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing.
Your details are stored on our website's hosting and database providers, who process data on our behalf under contract. We may share details with our insurer if a claim is made, and with HMRC or other authorities where the law requires it.
Reviews
If you leave us a Google review, that review is published by Google under Google's own terms and privacy policy, not ours. We display our Google rating and review content on this site. We never post a review on your behalf.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies necessary to make it work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and we do not sell data to advertisers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it, to object to how we use it, and to ask us to restrict its use.
