How your quote is built
"Extras" only appear when they apply to your job — stairs, a second pair of hands, waste disposal, or a same-day priority slot.
A flat booking fee covering admin, fuel to your door and the first stop. It's £25 Monday to Saturday and £45 on Sundays, when crew availability is tighter. The hourly rate below is charged on top.

Local moves around Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch usually fall inside the free zone — nothing extra to pay. On longer runs (say Bournemouth to London) the miles beyond the free allowance are charged both ways, plus the driving time for the crew at their hourly rate. No fuel surcharge, no hidden extras.
The little things that change the price
Stairs
£8 / flightCharged per flight at each end. Heavier items cost a bit more per flight; lighter items less. If there's a lift and your stuff fits, stairs don't apply.
Second man
£40 / hourAdded automatically when heavy lifting is needed and you can't help on the day. For specialist items a 2-person crew is built into the rate above instead.
Waste disposal
£35 / quarter vanFor clearances only. Covers responsible disposal and recycling at a licensed transfer station — you don't pay tip fees separately.
Same-day priority

On a Sunday the same job costs £20 more, as the call-out rises to £45. For larger moves we'll send a 3-person Luton crew — that adds a flat £200 Luton van hire on top of the hourly rate.
